For most of history just getting to Mallorca meant navigating by the stars.

We are thrilled to share the second edition of Sea of the Other - an idea we had since moving to this beautiful island and that today’s cosmic chaos encouraged us to make happen.

Who wants to try something new?

The Journey

We invite you - on the day of the new Moon in Cancer - to a unique immersive experience on the historic Bonnie Lass sailing boat where we’ll immerse ourselves into the magical, dreamy and evocative energies of the Sky.

Looking at the Sky from the boat, while listening to the waves, embraced by the horizon on one side and the mountains on the other, is just magical.

New Moon in Cancer

This new Moon is full of potential.

A great day to harness our intentions with strength and acceptance and be in service of our bodies, as a healers, guardians, lovers of life.

You’ll embrace this new lunar cycle by looking at your natal chart, through food rituals and ceremony, swimming in the sea of Neptune, stargazing and much more.

Rituals are a way to mark turning points in your life.

This new Moon invites us to reflect deeper into our past, our uterine memories, family dynamics, and emotional body to finally release what is limiting and blocking our growth. Remember that our past is a place of reference, not a place of residence.

On this day, under this sky, under these stars we are encouraged to open our hearts and honour your inner life.

Neptune, the God of the Sea

Neptune in astrology is the planet of music, dreams, imagination but also of mystery. Where Neptune is transiting our charts we are invited to surrender.

Neptune reminds us to keep an open mind – in order for the seemingly impossible to happen, and for our dreams to come true. Like the sea, Neptune functions according to rhythms that may be experienced as deep undercurrents in our lives.

Neptune has been in the sign of Pisces since 2011 and now it’s at 29 degrees as it’s about to move to Aries.

Join us and explore the new Moon and Neptune through storytelling, ritual, stargazing, intention setting and nourished food.

Day program includes:

  • A day sailing @bonnielasscharter towards a beautiful Cala with crystal clear water to swim

  • Astrology Workshop on the new Moon and Neptune in your personal chart

  • A nourishing ceremonial supper by @luna.fridge, inspired by the solstice and the full Moon.

  • An inspiring ceremony led by @nadineritcher_ to embrace this new lunar cycle.

  • Stargazing from the sea at dusk. We can’t explain how deeply inspiring it is when the image of the Eagle, the Swan, the Lyre or the constellations of Scorpio, Libra, Virgo emerge before your eyes as the night deepens. How can we open our hearts to the mysteries of the sky?

Thank you for the most fascinating, awe inspiring, enriching, hugely interesting and beautiful experience - you inspired us with your amazing and interesting myths and your depth of knowledge.”

Terrence - Sea of the Other, April 2024

The Mediterranean is the Sea of the Other

Many great civilizations were formed on the rim of this giant basin and from the Phoenicians (1500 BC) onwards the sea was often named in relation to others; the sea Between Lands, the Middle, the White, the Roman, the Syrian Sea. Mallorca stood as a key waypoint to the west where civilisations, religions, ideas and people met, fought, traded and loved.

For most of history just getting to Mallorca meant navigating by the stars. This technical skill has only recently faded but its impact has not. On most maps and nautical charts today we see a compass rose in the corner, invented in Mallorca in 1375. Each wave of immigrant, adventurer or colonist brought new gastronomic innovations from wine, wheat, chickpeas, oranges, almonds, saffron, tomatoes, potatoes, paprika to make what today is modern Mallorcan cuisine.

We’ll play with these innovations to create a delicious menu inspired by those who found this mesmerising island by starlight and chose to stay by sunlight.

A day for inner listening, to envision, to connect and to dare.

I hope you can join us!
